How Pets Work
Every player can equip one pet that provides a passive ability. Pets level up to increase their ability strength. Choosing the right pet to complement your character combo and playstyle can give you a significant edge.
Best Pets for Aggressive Players
Beaston (Top Pick)
Ability: Helping Hand — Increases the throwing distance of gloo walls, grenades, and flashbangs.
- Why it's great for rushers: Longer gloo wall throws let you build cover further ahead during pushes. Longer grenade range lets you flush enemies from cover without getting close.
- Best paired with: Skyler (destroy their walls, then throw gloo walls to create your own cover mid-push)
Falco (Fast Rotations)
Ability: Skyline Spree — Increases gliding speed after skydiving and sprinting speed after landing.
- Why it's great for rushers: Faster drops mean you reach weapons first. The sprint speed bonus lets you close gaps quickly in early game fights.
- Best paired with: Kelly (Dash) for maximum movement speed. Land first, loot first, fight first.
Dreki (Intel Advantage)
Ability: Dragon Glare — Detects enemies using medkits or EP items within a 30m radius.
- Why it's great for rushers: After cracking someone's armor, you'll know exactly when and where they're healing. Push during their heal animation for a free kill.
- Best paired with: Jota (healing on hit), so you sustain through fights while tracking healing enemies.
Best Pets for Defensive Players
Rockie (Top Pick)
Ability: Stay Chill — Reduces the cooldown of your equipped active skill.
- Why it's great for defense: Your active ability (Chrono shield, Alok heal, Dimitri zone) comes back faster, meaning more uptime on defensive abilities.
- Best paired with: Chrono (more frequent force fields) or Dimitri (more frequent healing zones).
Mr. Waggor (Resource Generation)
Ability: Smooth Gloo — Automatically generates a gloo wall grenade when you have fewer than a set number.
- Why it's great for defense: You never run out of gloo walls. In late-game situations where cover is scarce, having a steady supply of walls is invaluable.
- Best paired with: Nairi (Ice Iron) who strengthens gloo walls, making each generated wall even more durable.
Robo (Gloo Wall Healing)
Ability: Wall Enforcement — Creates a small healing zone around deployed gloo walls.
- Why it's great for defense: Every gloo wall you place becomes a mini healing station. Camp behind your walls and passively recover HP.
- Best paired with: Defensive character combos that rely on holding positions (Dimitri + Nairi).
Best Pets for Support Players
Detective Panda (Sustain)
Ability: Panda's Blessings — Restores HP with each kill.
- Why it's great for support: Keeps you alive longer so you can continue helping your team. The self-healing frees up medkits for teammates.
- Best paired with: Alok or K, stacking multiple healing sources for near-permanent sustain.
Spirit Fox (Team Healing)
Ability: Well Fed — Increases HP restored from all healing items.
- Why it's great for support: Every medkit and mushroom heals for more. In long matches where healing items are scarce, this adds up significantly.
- Best paired with: K (Psychology Mode EP recovery) — more effective healing from EP conversion.

Pet Leveling Priority
Pets get stronger as they level up. Focus your pet food on:
- Your main pet first — max out the one you use most
- Rockie — cooldown reduction scales well with levels
- Mr. Waggor — higher levels generate gloo walls at a higher threshold
- Don't spread pet food across too many pets — focus on 2-3
