HUD Codes

HUD codes are shareable layout configurations that let you import custom button placements into Free Fire. Instead of manually arranging every button, you can copy a code from a pre-made layout and import it in the game's settings to instantly apply the button positions, sizes, and arrangement.

Open Free Fire and go to Settings > Controls > Custom HUD. Tap the import button (usually a share/import icon in the top-right corner), paste the HUD code, and confirm. The layout will be applied immediately. You can always switch back to your previous layout or make further adjustments.

Start with 2-thumb if you are a beginner — it is the most natural way to hold a phone. Move to 3-finger when you want to aim and shoot simultaneously. 4-finger claw unlocks the most potential on phones (move, aim, shoot, and scope at the same time). 6-finger is mainly for tablet players who can use more fingers comfortably on the larger screen.

Yes. After importing a HUD code, you can adjust any button's position, size, and transparency in the Custom HUD editor. The imported code gives you a starting point that you can fine-tune to match your hand size and preferences.

HUD codes are compatible across both Android and iOS versions of Free Fire. The button layout system is the same on both platforms. However, button positions may feel slightly different if you switch between devices with very different screen sizes.
