Why Gloo Walls Define Free Fire
Gloo walls are the single most important utility in Free Fire. Unlike other battle royales, Free Fire lets you create cover anywhere, instantly. Mastering gloo wall placement is what separates good players from great ones.
Trick 1: 360 Gloo Wall
The 360 wall surrounds you with gloo walls on all sides, giving instant 360-degree cover.
How to Execute
- Hold the gloo wall grenade in hand
- Spin your camera in a full circle while rapidly tapping the deploy button
- You should place 3-4 walls forming a box around you
- Practice speed — the entire motion should take under 2 seconds
When to Use
- When caught in the open with enemies on multiple sides
- To safely revive a knocked teammate
- To heal in the final zone when surrounded
Trick 2: Double Gloo Wall
Stacking two gloo walls on top of each other creates a taller barrier that blocks headshot angles from elevated positions.
How to Execute
- Place one gloo wall normally
- Jump on top of the first wall
- While standing on it, place a second wall directly on top
- You now have a double-height wall that blocks sniper sightlines
When to Use
- Against enemies on rooftops or high ground
- To block AWM sightlines in open areas
- When pushing across streets toward buildings
Trick 3: Gloo Wall Peek
The peek technique lets you shoot from behind a gloo wall while minimizing your exposure.
How to Execute
- Place a gloo wall facing the enemy
- Position yourself at the left or right edge of the wall
- Strafe out, fire 2-3 shots, then strafe back behind the wall
- Crouch peek variant: Crouch behind the wall, stand up to shoot over the top, immediately crouch again
Tips
- Always pre-aim before peeking — know where the enemy is
- Alternate between left and right peeks to be unpredictable
- Don't peek the same angle more than twice — they'll pre-aim it
Trick 4: Ramp Gloo Wall
Using gloo walls as ramps to reach elevated positions without stairs or ladders.
How to Execute
- Place a gloo wall against a building wall at a slight angle
- Jump onto the sloped top edge of the gloo wall
- From there, jump onto the roof or upper floor
- For higher buildings: Stack a second wall on the first, then climb
When to Use
- To take high ground quickly during a fight
- To enter buildings through windows instead of doors
- To surprise enemies by flanking from unexpected angles
Trick 5: Gloo Wall Jump (Movement Tech)
Using gloo walls mid-movement to maintain momentum while creating cover.
How to Execute
- While sprinting, place a gloo wall directly under your feet
- You'll be boosted slightly upward and forward
- Immediately place another wall in front for cover
- Continue running — you've covered ground while building a defensive trail
Advanced Application
- Chain multiple gloo wall jumps while pushing an enemy to close distance safely
- Use it to cross open areas where running normally would get you sniped
- Combine with prone to drop behind your wall instantly after placing
Practice Routine
- Spend 10 minutes in training mode practicing each trick
- Start with 360 walls — speed is everything
- Move to wall peeks against bots
- Practice ramp walls on every building in the training area
- Once comfortable, try chaining tricks together in Clash Squad matches
