Oscar is an aggressive breach specialist whose Valiant Dash charges forward, destroying up to 3 Gloo Walls and dealing 25 damage with knockback to enemies in his path. He is the ultimate answer to defensive teams that rely on Gloo Walls and positional play, literally smashing through their setups to create openings for his squad. His 60-second cooldown means each dash must be used with purpose. Oscar thrives in tight spaces, building fights, and any situation where enemies are fortified behind walls.
Save Valiant Dash for high-value moments. Breaking one random Gloo Wall is wasteful when you could save it for smashing through a squad's entire defensive setup during a clutch fight.
Hallways, buildings, and narrow zones are your playground. Enemies have less room to dodge, and your dash can hit multiple targets while destroying their cover.
Coordinate with your squad before dashing. Call out your push so teammates are ready to follow up immediately on the disoriented enemies you knock back.
Do not use Valiant Dash as an opener when enemies are spread out in the open. It works best when they are clustered behind cover or in confined spaces.
After dashing, immediately switch to a shotgun or SMG. Knocked-back enemies are vulnerable for a brief window, and close-range weapons capitalize on that.
Oscar + Alok + Jota + Kelly: Alok heals and boosts speed after your dash, Jota restores HP on hits during the follow-up fight, and Kelly gives extra sprint speed to close remaining distance.
Oscar + Moco + Hayato + Dasha: Moco tags enemies you damage with the dash for team tracking, Hayato boosts armor pen for finishing weakened targets, and Dasha reduces fall damage and recoil.
Oscar + K + Tatsuya + D-Bee: K converts EP to HP for post-dash recovery, Tatsuya provides a secondary mobility option, and D-Bee improves moving accuracy for firing right after the dash.
